Sunrise Engagement at Top of the Rock in New York City

I absolutely love when couples choose engagement session locations that reflect who they are as a couple— places they go, memories they’ve made, significant points along the road that led them where they are now. Wilson & Le-Anh did just that. They’re getting married next month in Virginia, but their lives are in New York City, and wanted their engagement photos to reflect the city they love.

We met outside Wilson’s apartment in lower Manhattan just before sunrise, chatted and wandered down the Esplanade to Battery Park, moved to Le-Anh’s old neighborhood in West Village (and the Friends apartment & “Central Perk”), and ended at Top of the Rock for those iconic cityscapes that New York is known for. But even the Empire State Building couldn’t compete with Wilson & Le-Anh. I cannot wait for their wedding next month!
