Merry Christmas 2018 from The Bradshaws

2018

We finished a basement renovation (and did a few other house projects ourselves) in the Spring, celebrated our 5-year wedding anniversary with a trip to France in July, spent lots of sweet time with our families, continue to love our Church, fell more in love with our London-bear and life together as a family, and are expecting a baby boy in January!

Buck continues in his role as program manager in International Development at World Vision, managing a program in Ethiopia. He travels several times a year and loves his work. I celebrated 10 years of business by shooting 17 weddings this season, exploring commercial & editorial work, pursuing creative outlets like my Color Theory series, and offering business coaching for other creative entrepreneurs. I also read more than 50 books this year, and can’t wait to increase that number next year. London started “school” two mornings a week and LOVES it. She believes she is a ballerina (and a princess), is obsessed with The Greatest Showman (who isn’t??), and regularly tells me that she’s “so excited to have a baby brother!”

2018 was a year marked by joy, faithfulness, and steady growth, and we are unspeakably thankful. It was also incredibly busy. In 2019 we’re looking forward to the slower pace of life that a new baby inevitably brings… but will also keep up with many of the same things we did in 2018. We absolutely love our life, the big things (like International travel) as much as the small things (like quiet nights in, watching Psych reruns), and look forward to settling into a new routine in a matter of… days? weeks? REALLY SOON.

Thank you to everyone who helped to make our 2018 so incredible, and to all the clients who kindly invited us into YOUR lives this year. We don’t take that privilege for granted. Much love to you all this holiday season, and cheers to a beautiful, hope-filled 2019!
