I could tell you some other superficial things about myself— I love dark chocolate and red wine, I love DC for it’s grand architecture and rich history, I have a husband I adore, a strong marriage, a darling baby girl, a quaint old brick home, and a love for strong coffee & a good book.

But if you really want to know me, here are a few things that matter:

I never get tired of weddings.
I tear up at almost every first kiss.
I think pretty & styled is nice, but real life is beautiful.
I would rather cook for a friend than buy a meal out.
I care more about having a beautiful soul than a perfect body.
I cherish every lingering morning, and end every night with a kiss.
I believe marriage is one of the greatest earthly gifts anyone can receive.
I believe in telling your story, not my own version of it.

This gorgeous Brick Colonial Revival Home is in Richmond, was built in 1927, and is part of the Virginia Landmark Association’s National Register of Historic Places. Most importantly, it’s the home of […]

I met Kristin Corrigan through our mutual work in the wedding world (she’s a fabulous planner with Kelley Cannon Events), but we bonded over our love for bright, well-appointed, comfortable interiors. And by “bonded,” I mean that I gushed and tried to keep my jaw off the floor, and she modestly beamed as she showed […]

Remember that gorgeous navy blue room that my friend Joanna designed for her toddler? Well, that was actually the second room of hers that I photographed. The first was this gorgeous master bedroom. I photographed this nearly three years ago (and two moves ago for Joanna!), but it has a kind of timeless beauty that I […]

Blush walls, fluffy textures, French touches, and swans in tutus— this darling nursery is perfectly magical!! Designed by Julie of Strawberry Milk Events for her own little baby girl, and featured on Style Me Pretty Living. Follow my blog with Bloglovin My friend Joanna just moved her family from a big (but problematic) home in the Brookland neighborhood to a smaller space DC, but asked me to photographer her son’s toddler bedroom as a “goodbye” before they moved. I love the dark navy wall color and the mid-century accents that she used […]
