I could tell you some other superficial things about myself— I love dark chocolate and red wine, I love DC for it’s grand architecture and rich history, I have a husband I adore, a strong marriage, a darling baby girl, a quaint old brick home, and a love for strong coffee & a good book.

But if you really want to know me, here are a few things that matter:

I never get tired of weddings.
I tear up at almost every first kiss.
I think pretty & styled is nice, but real life is beautiful.
I would rather cook for a friend than buy a meal out.
I care more about having a beautiful soul than a perfect body.
I cherish every lingering morning, and end every night with a kiss.
I believe marriage is one of the greatest earthly gifts anyone can receive.
I believe in telling your story, not my own version of it.

This is where her entire family vacations (and the place her parents met), so Graham knew the perfect way to […]

Work kept Elizabeth on the road a lot, and didn’t leave much time for dating… until the night she met Alex. What was supposed to be a an early evening meet-up for drinks (wait, why did he order a bottle of wine??) turned into a lingering dinner, and then a late-night jaunt across the river […]

John and Kelly had more in common than expected at their first chance meeting back in 2014 at a Notre Dame football event. Despite living across the country, they kept in touch with one another, mainly discussing all things Notre Dame. But a year later, John relocated to New York City, and only a few […]

From the first, Leslie and Omar wanted a wedding that reflected their traditions and families, their love, and their personalities. Despite their wedding being at the National Museum of Women in the Arts  (a gorgeous and large venue) and their expansive guest list, they wanted an intimate day filled with family, friends, warmth, and love.  They achieved this by writing their […]

Modern Romantic Summer Wedding with Agate and Terrariums A West Virginia boy meets a Northern Virginia girl, they fall in love, adopt a puppy, get engaged, and plan their wedding. Ryan & Brooke’s wedding was the perfect “The Modern Romantic”— a lace gown, a long veil, a first look at an historic manor house, and a fluffy bouquet… […]
