Festive & Sophisticated Holiday Wedding at Four Seasons Hotel Washington DC
Maddie loves Christmas. Really loves Christmas. And not like most people love Christmas— Maddie loves Christmas as if it was made for her, as her own personal holiday. She was born near Christmas, it’s in her blood, and she carries a gentle joy with her all year long. That’s one of the things that drew Billy to her.
They met through mutual friends, and quickly fell in love. They began to build their loves together, started a home, adopted a puppy. One day, sometime around Christmas, Maddie came home to find a box of family ornaments on the couch to sort through. She unwrapped that said “All I Want for Christmas Is You” and had a fake ring tied to it, and turned around to see Billy with a ring box in his hand.
When it came time to plan their wedding, Christmastime just made sense. First her birthday, then engagement, and now their wedding anniversary would go hand-in-hand with her favorite holiday ever. Billy & Maddie planned their festive & sophisticated, holiday wedding at Four Seasons Hotel Washington DC, taking cues from Georgetown’s Christmas decor. Bits of gold and evergreen in the bouquets, champagne bridesmaid dresses, and candles around every corner brought warmth and comfort to the chilly December celebration.
