“When you think about your wedding photos,” I asked, “what moment is most important for you to remember?” I ask this question to most of my clients during our first meeting. When I asked Taylor & Emily, she looked at him and blushed a bit, and he beamed back at her. “I just want to see her smile.” And with that, I knew these two would always have a special place in my heart.

We did engagement photos a couple of weeks ago at Washington Golf & Country Club. Taylor is a 3rd-generation member at this historic club, and walking around the course felt a bit like being introduced at a family reunion. Everyone knows and loves Taylor and Emily, and they received more heartfelt congratulations and good luck wishes than any couple I’ve met. But of course, they’re that kind of couple— they love deeply and sincerely, and are well-loved in return. And they obviously loooooooove each other.
