We sat across the table from each other at a wine bar, chatting about life and race training and finding the love of our lives. “I can’t imagine not being with Mikey,” Megan said. “He’s the love of my life. Yes, I’m excited for the day itself, but I’m most excited to be his wife, for the long haul.” Mikey was running a few minutes late getting off work, but when he walked in and their eyes met, Megan’s face lit up like a Christmas tree (and his eyes glowed with love for her), I knew— this couple was special, they love from the bottom of their hearts, and their wedding would be something special.

It was everything I hoped and more. From the girlfriends surrounding Megan as she got ready for the day, to Mikey’s brother helping him with his grandfather’s cufflinks, to the walk down the aisle in the chapel where Mikey went to school, to the 300 guests cheering their hearts out and lining the balcony to watch as they shared their first dance, this wedding was full of deep, passionate, energetic love and care from beginning to end. Knowing Mikey & Megan, I wouldn’t have expected anything less. I’m so, SO thankful for the privilege of photographing their perfect day!!
