So happy to announce that Kris & Christine’s gorgeous mountain-inspired wedding was featured in The Knot: New England’s Fall/Winter edition! The box arrived on my doorstep last week, and waited until Buck got home to open it (joy is always best when shared). I have to admit, I actually cried when I opened the magazine and flipped to page 94 to see my images there in glossy print, staring back at me. I’ve shot weddings full-time for over six years, and this is my first real print publication. It feels like the nicest kind of affirmation that what I’m doing matters, and the sweetest possible compliment to Kris & Christine. Christine designed and handcrafted most of the full wedding after all (tablescapes, floating monogram, invitations, papergoods, etc), and has since turned her design genius into a full-fledged business (visit her site at Forest & Fern Creative to see more!). They celebrated their one-year anniversary yesterday, and I’m just thrilled to pieces to relive their perfect day in this way.
