“I’ll never forget how he made me feel when he said, ‘I’ve always known I wanted to spend the rest of my life with you.'” Isn’t this how all proposal stories should start? Jeff proposed one chilly December night at the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool. The two had been dating long-distance from San Francisco and Boston for two years. DC was Phoebe and Jeff’s rendezvous point, so it’s no surprise that they chose the capital to celebrate their Modern Textural Spring Wedding at District Winery in DC.
Phoebe’s Reem Acra wedding dress provided beautiful textural movement; and coupled with her white Christian Louboutin heels, classic and timeless elegance radiated from her! To honor Phoebe’s late father, Sweet Root Village created a beautiful instillation of white flowers on a chair for him. With their loved ones onlooking, the two exchanged vows in a traditional Jewish ceremony. District Winery provided the perfect backdrop for their modern and minimalist aesthetic. Centerpieces featured lush garden roses and enormous succulents.
Thank you to the amazing team of vendors who made Jeff and Phoebe’s day so wonderful:
