This Intimate Winter Wedding at Clifton Inn was beautiful… and it almost didn’t happen. When it became clear that Covid would make their planned wedding day impossible, Hudson & Megan pivoted. An October hotel wedding in DC with 150 of their favorite friends turned into a November wedding at the Clifton Inn in Charlottesville with just seven family members. And it was absolutely perfect.
Having Sarah as my photographer made my wedding day. When we decided to change our plans and hold a micro-wedding, I was very concerned that it wouldn’t feel like a “real wedding” but having Sarah there to capture the moments made my wedding feel extremely special. I will forever cherish the photos I have with my husband and our families. — Megan
They chose a clean, chic palette of white and cream with touches of greenery and mercury glass for a classic look. It was important to Megan for the day to feel sophisticated and like a “real wedding” as opposed to an elopement, and I think they achieved that.
