Intimate Spring Wedding at The Clifton in Charlottesville, Virginia

Intimate Spring Wedding at The Clifton in Charlottesville, Virginia

Sam & Claire planned their wedding in just under 4 months! After walking through heavy family loss during their engagement, they knew they wanted to prioritize celebrating with their closed loved ones on their wedding day. They chose The Clifton as their destination wedding location in order to keep everyone as close as possible. In keeping with the high family priority on their wedding day, Claire chose to do a first look with her dad, her brothers, and with Sam, and they placed high emphasis on family portraits throughout the day. In order to honor Sam’s father’s memory, the placed a bundle of daisies on what would have been his chair during the ceremony, and Claire’s brother in law performed their wedding ceremony. They ended their day with dinner, dancing, and toasts on the veranda under twinkle lights.
