Mat and Danielle met while playing kickball on the National Mall. She was drawn to his warm and gentle nature and he was transfixed by her “electric smile” and goofy personality. While vacationing in California, Mat proposed just before sunset on a practically empty beach in Carmel.
Although the couple lives in New York City, it was important for them to marry in the city where they fell in love!
