Meghan and Pierce grew up attending neighboring high schools in California, but despite having numerous mutual friends, the two didn’t meet until a summer debate camp at Dartmouth. They quickly became fast friends and stayed close as the years passed— going to prom, visiting each other at college from opposite sides of the country, and spending holidays together in San Jose— but it wasn’t until they both moved back home after college that they knew something more was there. And, as they say, “the rest was history!”
Meghan and Pierce were married last fall at Epiphany Catholic Church, followed by a romantic garden reception at Dumbarton House in Georgetown. Since they exchanged traditional vows during their ceremony, they exchanged written personal vows before the ceremony, in matching vow books by Elmo Paper Stories. For escort cards, they tucked Chocolates into tiny boxes sealed with the couple’s monogram. A sprig of lavender at each place setting gave nod to their honeymoon in Provence, France.
Thank you to the wonderful team who made this day possible:
