Interfaith Wedding at the National Museum of Women in the Arts

Wedding Portraits Overlooking the Washington Monument at the Hay-Adams Hotel | Interfaith DC Wedding by Sarah Bradshaw PhotographyFrom the first, Leslie and Omar wanted a wedding that reflected their traditions and families, their love, and their personalities. Despite their wedding being at the National Museum of Women in the Arts  (a gorgeous and large venue) and their expansive guest list, they wanted an intimate day filled with family, friends, warmth, and love.  They achieved this by writing their own vows and infusing both of their beliefs and traditions into the ceremony, where Imam Hendi, Chaplain of Georgetown University officiated.  In lieu of favors, donations were made honoring deceased loved ones.  The food beautifully reflected their personal tastes, and on the dessert table, they shared pastries and desserts reflecting their Italian and Middle-Eastern cultures. Leslie and Omar spent the evening dancing in one another’s arms, surrounded by their family and friends. What a beautiful day celebrating family and love!

This team of vendors really made the day extraordinary:
