Love, family, and tradition are some of the things that Meghan and Graham hold most dear. The couple, who’s love began in New York City, were engaged at Meghan’s family beach house in Avalon, New Jersey. This is where her entire family vacations (and the place her parents met), so Graham knew the perfect way to ask her for forever. After a sunset walk on the beach, he proposed to Meghan at one of her most beloved spots in the world, and he coordinated the whole affair with her family, so they could all celebrate afterwards.

Their October wedding was filled to the brim with nods to family traditions and the love that had been passed down through the generations. Meghan’s elegant Le Spose di Giò gown was enhanced by the addition of her great-grandmother’s veil, which has been worn by all of the women in her family. Her bouquet of white, long-stemmed calla lilies have also been the wedding flowers of choice for all of their past weddings. Graham and his groomsmen got ready at the Mayflower Hotel and then walked to the Cathedral of St. Matthew the Apostle for the ceremony, where he would catch his first glimpse of Meghan walking toward him down the aisle.

The Columbia Country Club was the stunning venue for a celebration filled with their family and friends. Meghan and Graham’s wedding party of 24 sisters, brothers, cousins, and friends was a walking party wherever they went! After a fun cocktail hour, and a sun-drenched hour of portraits for the newly weds, they rejoined their friends and family to celebrate the evening in style. The reception had a few fun family traditions, as well. At the beginning of the evening, family danced to “We Are Family” and took turns wearing Meghan’s late grandfather’s jacket, which has the names and wedding dates of all of grandchildren on the inside.
