John and Kelly had more in common than expected at their first chance meeting back in 2014 at a Notre Dame football event. Despite living across the country, they kept in touch with one another, mainly discussing all things Notre Dame. But a year later, John relocated to New York City, and only a few days after arriving, he and Kelly went on their first date. John would later tell friends and family after that night, he knew he would marry Kelly. In March of 2017, he asked Kelly to spend forever with him, and this past June, the Williamsburg Inn in Williamsburg, Virginia was the perfect backdrop for their blush & black tie wedding. . The ceremony was held at St. Olaf Catholic Church where Kelly’s mother and father walked her down the aisle. Back at the Inn, guests enjoyed cocktail hour with live music, before dining and dancing the night away with the newlyweds. John and Kelly snuck away for a moment alone and a romantic dance on the greens before the night ended. Elegant, timeless, and fun— the best way to describe this couple and their special day!
