If you’re planning a classic city-chic wedding with touches of black and white details, you’ll love these photos from an elegant and luxurious wedding in Washington, D.C. I always look forward to any opportunity I have to travel to Washington, D.C. to photograph a wedding. The nation’s capital offers so many unique and breathtaking wedding venues. The National Museum of Women in the Arts should definitely be on your list to tour if you are planning your wedding in the D.C. Maryland and Virginia areas, and looking for a unique and high-end wedding location. The Great Hall at the museum is a stunning ballroom for any occasion, especially a memorable wedding. I especially love the mezzanine that overlooks the space and allows for a unique perspective on the events taking place below.
Allison and Dhruv’s wedding day at the National Museum of Women in the Arts was full of love and traditional wedding details. I loved the elegant lace detailing on Allison’s fit and flare wedding dress. It was subtle but added an extra touch to her classic and timeless bridal style. Warm candlelight filled the wedding reception spaces, nestled amongst lush floral centerpieces of white roses and hydrangeas. Pops of gold accented the black-and-white wedding’s color palette for a modern twist on traditional wedding decor and design.
The following DC area wedding vendors contributed to this gorgeous museum wedding:
