The Biltmore Estate Gardens Wedding

The Biltmore Estate Gardens Wedding

The gardens at Biltmore were famous in their day, and are famous still! Drawing on plans by landscape architect Frederick Law Olmstead, Edith Vanderbilt worked with the garden staff to double the size of the rose gardens. We used the rose garden as the setting for some portraits of our Cornelia model. One of the gardeners kindly offered to clip some of the heirloom roses to add to our bouquet.

When Cornelia Vanderbilt married John Cecil at a local church, it was followed by a wedding breakfast at the Estate. We designed a European-inspired breakfast table as a nod to her reception.
