Ryan thought he was just going for a drink with some coworkers… that’s all he intended, and all he had planned. Then Amy walked into the room, and he couldn’t take his eyes off of her. He somehow managed to strike up conversation, and she smiled (oh, that smile… he couldn’t tear himself away). Five hours later, they were still talking and laughing, and Ryan commented that their kids would have amazing eyes and awesome hair. Because he just knew. Knew that she was the one. They’ve been together ever since.
Amy is a planner by nature, to the enth degree. They took a trip to Italy this past summer, and she had every minute of their time planned out. So did Ryan, but his plans made a few alterations to Amy’s. One day, overlooking the brilliant blue of the Mediterranean Sea in Cinque Terre, Ryan dropped down on one knee and asked if this beautiful woman would be his for the rest of their lives. And suddenly her plans were rearranged in the best way possible.
I can’t wait to photograph their wedding in Washington DC in May— it will be as beautiful and perfect as they are!
