I developed a friendship with bridal fashion designer Sareh Nouri while shooting backstage for her for during NYC Bridal Fashion Week. I’ve loved her gowns for over a decade, and have recommended her to many, many brides over the years! So when she reached out about working together on her Fall 2025 Bridal Gown Fashion campaign, I absolutely jumped at the chance to work with her.
Sareh and I collaborated on location scouting, working together to find a venue that would highlight her newest collection, align with her brand, and create a dream-like story of romance for future brides to fall in love with. I discovered a stunning, Gilded Age historic mansion outside of Philadelphia that sat empty for 20 years, but had been recently been acquired by a foundation working to restore it to former glory. They graciously agreed to let us photograph the newest collection in their space.
As an artist, I draw my inspiration from fashion history, classical architecture, and quality craftsmanship, so everything about this project was perfect alignment and pure joy. I will always take more joy in a restoration project than in a renovation, and I’m the old soul who regularly sighs for the “good old days” of artisan home construction, so the opportunity to photograph gorgeous bridal fashion in an old mansion made my heart sing.
You can see the full shoot on Sareh Nouri’s website, and we were thrilled to see this project featured in a New York Times article reviewing NYBFW, as well as in Houston Weddings Magazine. Enjoy a few favorites from this fashion editorial campaign!
