Traditional Family Wedding at Belle Haven Country Club in Alexandria
This traditional family wedding at Belle Haven Country Club in Alexandria was all about people. Conor & Molly met in high school, but it wasn’t until they both moved out of state to attend the same college that they started dating. “When we went to South Carolina,” Conor said, “she reminded me of home.” That feeling quickly went from “reminding me of home” to “she is my home.”
After dating for ten years, they got engaged and planned their wedding for early summer of 2020. When the pandemic hit, they pivoted their plans and reframed their priorities to focus on the family members and close friends who could attend. The entire day revolved around people and making memories with those closest to them.
Molly got ready in her parents’ home, the same house where her father grew up and got ready on his wedding day. After private a first look with Conor, the wedding party took portraits at the US Capitol before their ceremony at St Aloysius Church and reception at Belle Haven Country Club where they dined inside and danced outside on the lower terrace.
