Melissa and Scott’s wedding day at The Army and Navy Club was the perfect way to ring in the holiday season. The couple (both in the Army) met while deployed in Romania, and knew they wanted their wedding to be all about faith, family, and friends. After all, Scott proposed to Melissa at her dad’s birthday party and everyone was in on the surprise! Melissa wore her mother’s handmade veil, and ring that belonged to her Omi, and her mother’s Hunter Boots while outside. After their first look in LaFayette Square, the wedding party joined them for some portraits before the ceremony. The bridesmaids wore festive sequined Adrianna Papell dresses, which complimented Melissa’s Madison James gown perfectly.
Melissa’s father officiated their ceremony and the evening culminated in an intimate dinner shared with their closest family and friends. The ballroom, with the warm glow of Christmas lights and candles, provided an inviting and elegant ambiance. Even the cake toppers provided some luxe holiday glam with two gold deer adorning their Buttercream Bake Shop cake.
Thank you to the vendor team who made the day so wonderful:
