Lemon-themed Congressional Country Club Wedding
Wedding planning during a pandemic is not for the faint of heart. After three date changes, and losing the bride’s grandmother after the first two, Brett & Alex embraced the change and leaned hard into the joy of finally getting married. To reflect this spirit, they overhauled their escort card wall to reflect their disposition: “Life gave us lemons, and we made Limoncello.” Their Congressional Country Club wedding had lemons tastefully incorporated into reception floral arrangements to carry the theme.
Fun fact: the week of the wedding the groom realized his passport had expired (a challenge, as they were set to travel the day after the wedding). He was at the passport office at 7am the morning of the wedding without knowing how long he would have to be there! Thankfully he made it back in time!
