We checked the weather every day, hoping that maybe, just maybe, the forecast would change. But Saturday morning, June 27, 2015, I woke up to the sound of a torrential downpour. At least we have umbrellas, I thought. For some couples, rain on a wedding day would disappoint, distract, or cause some discouragement at least. But not KC & Katie—  the classic sound of the Flamingos crooning “I Only Have Eyes For You” was written for them. No crazy thunderstorms could take their eyes from each other, and the rain only seemed to draw them closer together. From morning getting ready at Katie’s girlhood home, to KC’s tender whispered “I love you”s in Katie’s ears during the ceremony, to twirling and dipping on the dance floor to the cheers of their family and friends, KC & Katie’s wedding day was perfect in every way. I’m so, so thankful for the privilege of photographing their wedding!!

And as if they weren’t already the greatest couple on earth, they spent their honeymoon in Bora Bora, with the one-and-only Justin Bieber!! #honeymoonwiththebiebs
