After meeting and falling in love in Tokyo, Weston & Arisa planned a wedding in the city that was Arisa's home, and had become Weston's as well. A global pandemic prevented them from hosting everyone close to them, so they planned a reception in Bethesda, Maryland, where Weston grew up. The theme was an elevated Summer garden party, with many nods to their Japanese heritage—from the bamboo touches in floral arrangements to the sake glasses for toasts at dinner. A highlight of evening was vintage car owned by Weston's father, a fitting accent to Arisa's vintage-inspired attire.
