Moody Garden Wedding at Anderson House

Will & Sarah’s wedding drew their primary inspiration from the architecture and design of their venue, as well as their love of London, English countryside gardens, and the tradition of afternoon tea. Using moody colors, heavy velvets, ivy motifs, and elephants (as a nod to the bride’s Sri Lankan heritage), they designed a wedding with elegance, romance, and most importantly, hospitality. After years of waiting and planning, the most important element of their wedding was to start their marriage surrounded by those they love, so they designed a deeply personal and memorable event for their guests. The groom’s sister officiated the wedding, and every design element told part of the couple’s story. The highlight of the night was the couple’s outfit change from black tux & white wedding gown to a velvet jacket and gold sari.
