January Monthly Goals

January Monthly Goals

December was a crazy mixture of intensely hard days and sweet, sweet memories. Buck was on travel for most of the month, and my work kept me far busier than I wished. It was the month I expected, but not without unexpected joys. We had a few days at home together as a family before heading out of town for the holidays, and Buck and I had a beautifully sweet night away by ourselves after he got back from his trip— our annual “Fancy Hotel Christmas Tree Round Robin,” dinner out, hotel stay, and a quiet brunch before stepping back into parenthood. So thankful for that early Christmas gift!!

We’ve had 10 delightful days in South Carolina with family over the holidays, and I feel so refreshed and rested and happy. And SO READY to jump back into work and start this year off well!!

Every year, Buck and I take a day off between Christmas and New Years and go to a coffee shop for a morning or afternoon to evaluate the previous year and write out our vision, goals, and plans for the upcoming year. It’s one of my favorite days of the year (you all knooooowwww how much I love planning!!), and last week’s planning day is the best we’ve ever had. We always make our family goals before I start working on business goals (if my business goals don’t support our family goals, they don’t work), and I’ll share my full 2017 goals list here once it’s complete. For now, I just have goals for the month!
