Friends, you might want to pour yourself a fresh cup of coffee and settle in for a bit, because I have some exciting things to share!!

Last month I celebrated 11 years as a photographer.

I launched my business in 2008 and went full time in 2009, but October 24, 2006 was the day I left my non-profit job in Chicago and moved home, into my parents basement, to begin a new chapter of my life with a camera in hand.

There have been many other significant milestones for me in this career, but that day stands out as the most significant— that was the day the course of my life changed, and the anniversary I most enjoy celebrating.

Last year, on the 10th anniversary of that move home, I wrote a blog post about what I would say if I could go back and talk to myself on the flight home.

This year, I celebrated by launching a brand new website! The all-new SarahBradshaw.com is officially live, and I’m overflowing with excitement over it!! I’ve been hard at work behind the scenes for months now, tweaking and rewriting, to make it just perfect. And today, I’m finally ready to show it to the world.

Come over and take a look around!

There are many corners of the site that I love, but the client portfolio will always be my favorite— I wouldn’t be here today without the amazing men and women who have trusted me to tell their stories! My second favorite: the Core Beliefs section at the bottom of the About page. It’s my chance to share the heart and purpose behind all I do!

My heart is overflowing with gratitude as I think back on this last decade— the work I’ve produced, the couples I’ve been privileged to photograph, and the friendships that have formed as a result of a career in the photography and wedding community.

I truly believe I have the best job in the world, and it is because of people like YOU. You’ve cheered me on, followed my work (some of you for years!), and are just the best tribe a woman could ask for. You make the Sarah Bradshaw Brand what it is today. I’m humbled by your support, and am excited to share more beautiful stories with you in the years to come!

And of course, I have to give a shoutout to my FAV designer/friend/lifelong girlcrush Jen Olmstead of Tonic Site Shop. Jen has designed every one of my website/blog iterations and has become a dear friend in the process. I can’t describe the enormous gift it is to have my brand “grow up” with such a gifted designer. As my work & brand have evolved, so has her interpretation of them— each site she’s designed perfectly captured my heart and my work at the time she designed it. A lot of that has come from what she knows of me as a person, from watching me grow and mature over the past (7?? 8??) years of friendship. Not ever personal brand has the privilege of a long-term, one-on-one relationship with their designer, and it really means the world to me to have someone who truly gets every aspect of what I want to communicate.

Jen, I can never thank you enough for your work or your friendship. Just as I will never cease to hardcore crush on your perfect hair, sense of style, and the ease at which you move around the kitchen. Love you, and forever thankful for you.
