High School Sweethearts Sunrise DC Engagement Session

They met at a summer program for high schoolers at Georgetown University. She was the girl from Jersey with those gorgeous eyes, he was the boy from Hawaii with the movie star smile, and almost from the moment they met they were inseparable. But it was just high school, and they were just in DC for a short time, and Allie assumed this was just one of those flings. They stood at the bus stop on the last day and she said, “Well, I guess this is goodbye,” and he said, “I’ll write you.” “What?!!?” she responded, just before he climbed on the bus.

And that was that. Emails, then phone calls got them through four years of college long-distance, and then they found jobs— both in NYC, so they could finally be near each other. And now they’re planning their wedding.

Rich & Allie reached out to me about doing a sunrise engagement in DC— they were celebrating their 10-year anniversary, and wanted to commemorate this milestone by spending a weekend in the place it all started.
