Just as I branched out into commercial and editorial photography this past year, I placed a higher emphasis on Interiors in 2018, as well. I fell in love with interior design photography in 2011 when I moved to Capitol Hill. A friend of mine was a realtor and his company wanted a fresh take on some of the gorgeous row homes they sold, so I began photographing their spaces. I absolutely loved it. I stopped doing real estate a few years later, simply due to time and scheduling constraints, but it sparked a love for photographing interiors and further fueled my love for homes.
Architecture and well-appointed spaces have always heavily influenced my shooting style (marble columns, y’all). I tire of photographing home. Here are just a few I got to photograph this past year.
Also, so honored to have had the following publications feature my interior photography work in 2018:
Kristin Corrigan’s home tour on Washingtonian | Kristin Corrigan’s home tour on The Everygirl | Kristin Corrigan’s home tour on Style Me Pretty Living | Julie Savage Parekh’s swan lake nursery on Style Me Pretty Living | Samantha Noble’s basement apartment tour on Apartment Therapy
