Maureen and Adrian’s story began at Boston College in 2005. Their love has seen them through many transitions over the years; from moving to new cities and starting new jobs, to planning a wedding in Washington, DC from California. Their January wedding was full of subtle nods to their alma mater, with beautiful accents of burgundy and blush. Maureen got ready at her parent’s home in Alexandria (which was so beautiful I wanted to move in) before her first look with Adrian at Navy Yard. Her mink stole, a family heirloom, was the perfect addition for a chilly January day! We did wedding party portraits at the National Building Museum before their afternoon ceremony at Holy Rosary Church— the ceremony sendoff was my favorite!— followed by a sweet evening reception at District Winery.
Thank you to the vendors who made this day so special:
